Mission Team Headed to the Philippines May 21 - June 1, 2013

A team of 5 will spend 5 days in Manila serving at the Concordia Children's Services and particiapting in a free eye clinic to impoverished people in Manila. The clinic will serve as a holisitc ministry and open doors to share the Gospel. The team will train members of the local Lutheran church to perform eye exams and thereby empower the church in a new way of ministry for commnity outreach and evangelism.

The team will spend the remaining 5 days in Moreno, Pangasinan to (1) serve during the SportsFest and (2) partner together with the Philiipine youth in a community service project so as to shine the Light of Christ in one accord.

SportsFest, is a Christ-centered week of disciple-making. Over 300 youth from all over the country were hosted by the people of a small rural community, Moreno. We thank God for it's intense faith-building attributes and Kingdom benefits!
