Dominican Republic Lutheran Mission

Since 2006 our Lutheran missionaries have been sharing the Gospel with the Dominican people. God has blessed their ministry. The number of converts, disciples, leaders and congregations is growing. There are 2 church plants, 4 congregations, 2 Lutheran Schools and the Good Shepherd Lutheran Group Home for developmentally disabled children. The most recent addition is the Concordia Reformer Lutheran Seminary and Mercy Center.

Faith Community has had a close mission partnership with the DRLM since 2012 through financial support as well as sending an annual mission team to support the missionaries and national church leaders already doing God's work in the DR. Our role is always to support the work they have already begun and to strengthen the local and national church.

A Faith team is normally sent sometime in the summer with recruiting beginning in the beginning of each year. Please check back here for more details as they become available.

You can follow the work that is going on through their FaceBook page

Faith Community also has a 'sent' missionary family (The Warren's) living in the Dominican Republic and serving the Latin America Region. See more here.
