SAM (Senior Adult Ministry) Meeting – July 19th

Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 19th.  Another great meeting is being planned.  It will start at 10:30am and go through lunch.  Continuing our theme of Joyfully Aging, our primary topic will be “Healthy Aging” and focus on brain health.  Our presenter will be from the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.  Our opening devotion will be conducted by Pastor Bo who will lead us through what Scripture would have us focus on when it comes to our thoughts and minds.

At our last meeting on May 17th, over fifty “joyfully aging” seniors participated in fellowship, education, and lunch.  Our topic was “Joyfully Aging, by Taking Care of…Yourself - Taking Advantage of Senior Resources.”  We presented and handed out information on the many resources available to “seniors” living in our town.
