Dear Prospective Parent/Guardian,
Thank you for your interest in Faith Lutheran Academy. It is our pleasure to have the opportunity to share our ministry with you. This site is designed to give you a glimpse of who we are as a school and church community. God has richly blessed our ministry and we would love for you to be a part of it!
Faith Lutheran Academy offers a quality, Christ-centered education for students in the Las Vegas Valley. We have begun the Accreditation process with the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools and the National Lutheran Schools Association, and will be accredited the end of April 2010. We are the first Lutheran Elementary School in the Las Vegas Valley to begin this endeavor. Faith Lutheran Academy is staffed with experienced teachers who are committed to academic excellence. The modern school is safe, secure, and situated in the heart of Summerlin.
Faith Lutheran Academy features a myriad of benefits for prospective students; including a computer lab, three mobile computer labs, a full-sized gymnasium, physical education, art, music, computer, library, and Spanish programs, along with a fully-staffed after school program. Faith Lutheran Academy is made up of a diverse student body, composed of church members and other families within the Summerlin Community. Our students are exposed to standards-based curriculum that challenges all students. The students at Faith Lutheran Academy are also exposed to a variety of opportunties to grow in both faith and service.
We accept applications all year long and look forward to receiving your completed application. We will begin processing and accepting new applications for the 2010-2011 school year in mid-February, 2010. Part of this process will be an interview with the parents/guardians and the Principal. All potential students will be assessed by a teacher of our school to ensure that we can provide the best possible learning environment for all of our students.
