Why should I choose Faith Lutheran Academy?
Faith Lutheran Academy offers the best option in Las Vegas for a quality, christ-centered education. We have begun the Accreditation process with the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools and the National Lutheran Schools Association . We look forward to becoming the first accredited Lutheran Elementary School in the Las Vegas Valley. Faith Lutheran Academy is staffed with experienced teachers who are committed to academic excellence. The modern school is safe, secure, and situated in the heart of Summerlin.
How many students attend Faith Lutheran Academy?
As of January, 2010 there are 280 students enrolled in grades K through 5.
What is the student teacher ratio?
Kindergarten and First Grade Classrooms are considered full with 24 students per classroom. Each Kindergarten and First Grade Classroom has one full-time teacher and one full-time teacher assistant. Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth FGrade Classrooms are considered full with 24 students per classroom. Each of these classrooms has one full-time teacher and one part-time teacher assistant. There are two classrooms at every grade level.
What are your hours?
Our campus is available from 7:00am – 6:00pm. Our Safe Key Program runs from 7:00-8:00am and then again from 3:00-6:00pm. Students should arrive between 8:00-8:15am and go directly to their classrooms.
Grade K-2 8:15am – 2:50pm Dismissal is from 2:50-3:00pm
Grade 3-5 8:15am – 3:05pm Dismissal is from 3:05-3:15pm
Do you offer Safe Key?
Yes, from 7:00am – 6:00pm for an additional cost.
Do you have a hot lunch program?
Yes, we have a hot lunch program. To Go By Jo, provides our hot lunch. Families can purchase hot lunch online one week prior for a cost of $4.25/day plus a drink $0.50.
How much does Faith Lutheran Academy Cost?
Annual Tuition for the 2009-2010 school year is $7,089.00.
Annual Tuition for the 2010-2011 school year will be $7,160.00
Do the children wear uniforms?
What is the enrollment process?
While we welcome applications all year round, we officially begin accepting applications for next school year around the middle of February (2/16/10) for 10-11 school year). Once you complete an application, that application will go into a waiting pool. Academy, Pre-School Families, and Siblings receive first priority. All children must meet the basic requirements for enrollment. When an open occurs, completed applications will be pulled from the waiting pool. It is not a first come, first serve basis. All students will be assessed prior to acceptance and new families must meet with the Principal.

Will my Kindergartner be assessed?
All potential students, including a kindergartener, will be assessed by a teacher of our school to ensure that we can provide the best possible learning environment for all our students.
